The limiting Oxygen Index of Veenice polyimide is 38%, it belongs to a flame retardant material. The fiber do not droplet flame and will extinguish when leaving the fire, can effectively prevent the spread of fire meanwhile non-toxic, suitable for making fire service and textile usage for homes, schools, hospitals, hotels and etc.
Our test: Normal mattress (left) and polyimide mattress (right)
Result: four minutes after set on fire, ordinary mattress burned down. Polyimide mattress after 30 minutes set on fire with poured gasoline, inside still intact, just the surface gasoline got carbonization
